Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the My TCG Shop website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

My TCG Shop is a display-case platform that lets trading-card vendors show and sell inventory at live events, and lets customers browse, reserve, and purchase those cards. Vendors pool inventory into a shared store; each item is tagged with its owner so sales can be attributed for payouts. The Service also lets customers submit buylist offers and trade proposals to vendors, lets vendors generate guest-import links for partners to upload inventory, and lets event organizers publish kiosk pages that aggregate every vendor's booth at a show. A nationwide marketplace lets customers search every vendor's cards by name, price, condition, and location, see the vendor selling each card, and scan that vendor's store QR code to browse or order in person or online.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create a vendor account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it current.

3. Pricing — it's free

• No subscriptions, no trials, no credit card: My TCG Shop is completely free for vendors and customers. Every feature — the display case, Collectr import, buylists, trades, online card payments, event kiosks, and the nationwide marketplace — is available at no cost.
• How we stay in business: we earn a 3% transaction fee on online card sales, added on top of Stripe's processing fee. In-person cash sales are always completely free.
• Because there are no paid subscriptions, there is nothing to bill, nothing to renew, and nothing to cancel.

4. Marketplace transactions

• Online card payments are processed by Stripe. A 3% transaction fee on each online sale is retained by My TCG Shop; Stripe's card-processing fee may be absorbed by the vendor or passed to the buyer at checkout. In-person cash sales carry no platform fee.
• Vendors are responsible for fulfilling items they sell and for the accuracy of pricing, condition, grade, and quantity listed.
• Vendors who connect a Stripe account through the Service receive automatic payouts for online card sales — 97% of their share is transferred to their connected account, and My TCG Shop retains a 3% platform fee. Vendors who have not connected Stripe, and in-person cash sales, are settled manually by the store operator.
• My TCG Shop may refuse, cancel, or refund any order it believes is fraudulent or in breach of these Terms.
• Sales tax: My TCG Shop does not collect or remit sales tax on vendors' behalf. Each vendor is solely responsible for determining whether their sales are subject to sales tax and for registering, collecting, and remitting any tax owed to the appropriate tax authorities. Prices shown at checkout do not include sales tax.

5. Reservations, buylists & trades

Customers may reserve cards for in-person pickup. Reserved cards are placed on hold and are not available to other shoppers while held. Holds that are not redeemed may expire and return to available inventory. A reservation is not a charge unless followed by a completed payment.

Customers may also submit buylist offers (cards they want to sell to a vendor) and trade proposals (cards they offer in exchange for a vendor's cards, with optional cash to even up). Market values shown are estimates from third-party sources and are not guarantees. A buylist or trade submission is an invitation to deal — it is not binding until the vendor accepts it, and vendors may accept, counter, or decline any offer at their discretion. Accepted buylist cards may be added to a vendor's inventory for payout accounting.

6. Acceptable use

• You will not list counterfeit, stolen, or otherwise unlawful items.
• You will not use the Service to commit fraud, manipulate pricing, or abuse the free trial.
• You will not scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• If you generate a guest-import link, you are responsible for the inventory uploaded through it and for honoring any payouts owed to the partner whose cards you accepted.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Market values are estimates from third-party sources and are not guarantees of resale price. We do not guarantee the authenticity or condition of any card listed by a vendor.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My TCG Shop and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the loss of any card or sale, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
